NEW YORK, April 3 (RIA Novosti) - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon will pay a visit to Russia on April 9-11, his spokeswoman Marie Okabe said on Thursday.
During his visit he is expected to meet with top Russian officials, including Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, State Duma lawmakers and leaders of non-governmental organizations.
The Secretary General is also scheduled to deliver a speech to students and professors at the Moscow State University.
The forthcoming visit will be the first for Ban Ki-Moon as UN Secretary General, although he visited Moscow in November 2006 as South Korea's foreign minister.
