SOCHI, April 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President-elect Dmitry Medvedev told U.S. President George Bush on Sunday that maintaining good relations between the countries is a key factor for international security.
Bush met with Medvedev, who will assume office on May 7, at the Black Sea resort of Sochi after his talks with outgoing President Vladimir Putin.
"After I am sworn in, I would like our relations to continue further without delay," Medvedev said.
Medvedev said Bush and Putin had worked extensively over the years to develop Russian-U.S. interaction.
