MOSCOW, April 9 (RIA Novosti) - Severstal, Russia's largest steel producer, has denied reports that it will buy shares in the Italian soccer giant, Juventus FC.
Media reports had earlier said that the Turin club would use the extra funds for the purchase of new players, such as Chelsea's Frank Lampard.
Severstal is already a sponsor of the Russian Super League ice hockey club, Cherepovets, but is looking to move into European soccer.
