MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will pay an official visit to Moscow next week, the country's Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Stubb is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on April 25 to discuss bilateral ties, as well as Russia's cooperation with the European Union and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
Finland holds the 2008 presidency of the OSCE.
"This will be the first meeting between the ministers," the ministry's statement said.
The Finnish centre-right member of the European Parliament, who also serves as the OSCE chairman-in-office, was appointed foreign minister on April 4.
