BERLIN, April 27 (RIA Novosti) - At least 25 people were injured when a high-speed German Intercity Express (ICE) train derailed after hitting a herd of sheep in a tunnel near Fulda, German media reported on Sunday.
The train carrying 170 passengers was en route from Hamburg to Munich when it collided with the herd of sheep that had wandered into the 11-km (7-mile) long tunnel at around 9 p.m. (7 p.m. GMT) on Saturday, the German media reported.
All the passengers had been evacuated from the tunnel and taken to a nearby town, the media said.
