Kilogram of heroin seized from Russian driver in west Urals

MOSCOW, May 1 (RIA Novosti) - Police have seized almost a kilogram of heroin during a search of a car in the town of Izhevsk in the western Urals, a law enforcement source said on Thursday.

"During a search, officers... detained an unemployed man who had a criminal record. Police found 976 grams of heroin on him and inside his Subaru car," the source said.
