MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti) - Skoda Auto, the Czech Republic's largest auto producer, said on Tuesday its car sales in Russia grew 75% in January-April to 14,200 vehicles.
Russia has become one of the most dynamically growing markets for Skoda along with China and India, with the three countries accounting for 11% of Skoda's total sales in 2007.
The Octavia Tour was Skoda's most popular model in Russia, with almost 5,000 vehicles sold in the first quarter or 61% more than in the same period last year.
