MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti) - The asset value of Russia's 30 largest banks increased 6.3% in the first quarter of 2008, to 14,846 billion rubles ($624 billion) as of April 1, the Central Bank said on Tuesday.
The profits of Russia's top 30 banks increased 12.2% in the reporting period to 93.24 billion rubles ($3.9 billion), the Central Bank said.
