WARSAW, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - A number of 100-kilo air bombs have exploded at the Gliwice military base in Poland, the TVN24 channel said on Tuesday.
According to preliminary information, the bombs exploded while being transported on a truck, which according to reports, has a further three unexploded devices on board.
A spokesman for the Polish Defense Ministry said that there were no casualties as a result of the blast.
Ten fire engines are in attendance at the site. Police have cordoned off all roads leading to the base.
