"I have made a decision to increase the wage fund for the federal budget-financed organizations by 30% from December 1," Putin said at a meeting with members of the United Russia parliamentary faction.
According to Putin, the government has held consultations with the Central Bank of Russia, which believes that the pay increase will have no serious effect on inflationary processes.
Putin also said that money allowance for servicemen in permanent-readiness units will be raised significantly.
According to Putin, servicemen's pay will rise to 65,000 rubles ($2,750) per month and the pay of officers on combat duty on board of submarines and nuclear-powered cruisers, in units of the Strategic Missile Force and rapid response units will rise to 100,000-150,000 rubles ($4,230-$6,355) per month.
