YEKATERINBURG, July 21 (RIA Novosti) - A man shot a woman in the leg with an airgun after she objected to him trying to push into a railroad ticket queue in the Russian Urals city of Yekaterinburg, a police spokeswoman said on Monday.
The man, 31, fled after shooting the woman, but was later caught by transport police.
Police subsequently discovered that he also had a knife on him. He now faces up to seven years in prison.
The woman was hospitalized with a leg wound.
