MOSCOW, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - The board of directors of Russian energy giant Gazprom has approved an increase in the company's 2008 investment program by 16% to 821.66 billion rubles ($35.42 billion).
The board approved an amended draft investment program and a draft budget (financial plan) for 2008.
Gazprom said the amendments to the investment program were conditioned by changes in the investment project list and to investment volume for 2008.
