ROME, July 24 (RIA Novosti) - The 'execution' by electric chair of a dummy at a Milan funfair is to be halted, the head of the funfair said on Thursday.
"We have decided to pardon the prisoner," the ANSA news agency quoted Ricardo Trebino as saying.
The attraction was similar to one in Las Vegas. For one euro ($1.65) a visitor could see a latex mannequin strapped to a chair and trembling and convulsing when 'his' hair began to burn.
The La Republica newspaper quoted a funfair official as saying that the park had on average 50 'executions' each day, with the number almost tripling on Sundays.
