GORKI (Moscow Region), July 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's president announced Wednesday the establishment of state prizes to reward young scientists.
"I just signed a decree on state prizes for young scientists, worth 2.5 million rubles [$107,000] each," Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with youth organizations' representatives.
The Kremlin press service said there would be three such prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to Russian citizens "for considerable contribution to the development of domestic science and innovative activity."
