BUENOS AIRES, July 30 (RIA Novosti) - At least 11 people died and another nine were injured when a truck collided with a bus Wednesday in northeast Colombia, local media reported.
The accident occurred some 14 kilometers (9 miles) from the oil-refining river port of Barrancabermeja as the oil tanker swerved into an oncoming lane and crashed into the bus.
The bodies of eleven people have been identified, and nine people have been hospitalized with various injures, said Luis Alberto Moore, General of the Colombian National Police.
A rescue operation is ongoing.
