MOSCOW, August 7 (RIA Novosti) - A pregnant woman gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday while traveling on a commuter train near Moscow, a railway spokesperson said.
The new arrival came unexpectedly when the woman was on the train from Moscow's Paveletsky station to Kolomenskoye-Mikhnevo.
The newborn was delivered by two female ticket inspectors, who called for an ambulance to meet the mother and daughter off the train, the spokesperson said.
The girl, named Alexandra, was reportedly born healthy without any complications.
