MOSCOW, August 14 (RIA Novosti) - The TGK-6 regional power generating company posted Thursday a net profit of 69.6 million rubles ($2.9 million) calculated to Russian Accounting Standards in the first six months of 2008.
The company's revenue stood at 10.8 billion rubles ($445.5 million) in the reporting period. Its profit on sales reached 169.2 million rubles ($7 million) and pretax profit amounted to 120 million rubles ($4.97 million) in January-June 2008.
TGK-6 operates in four Russian regions and in Mordovia in the Volga area.
