SAMARA, August 24 (RIA Novosti) - Six people, including a two-year-old boy, died on Sunday during a fire in the Russian Volga area city of Samara, a local doctor told RIA Novosti.
"The incident occurred at around 5:00 a.m. [noon GMT] in the Zheleznodorozh area of the city. Two houses caught on fire, and one of them was burnt to the ground. A two-year-old boy, two women, and three men perished in the fire," she said.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
