DUSHANBE, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - Ten people were killed and two injured in a road accident in southern Tajikistan on Tuesday, an interior ministry spokesman said.
Makhmadullo Asadullaev said that two cars - a Daewoo and a VAZ-21014 - collided on a highway leading to the country's capital of Dushanbe.
He also said that "the accident was caused by the excessive speed and violation of traffic regulations by the Daewoo driver."
