MOSCOW, September 26 (RIA Novosti) - Turkey is to extradite a Russian citizen charged with embezzling $1.3 million from the state, an Interpol source said on Friday.
In February 2005, Pavel Grebennikov was put on the international wanted list on charges of embezzling 40 million rubles ($1.3 million) from the Russian budget in 2001-2001. He was detained in the Turkish resort town of Antalya earlier this month.
Grebennikov will be brought to Russia on Saturday, where he faces up to 10 years in prison.
