MOSCOW, October 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and the EU should cooperate to bring cyber offenders to justice, the Russian interior minister said on Wednesday.
"It would also be useful for us to define the range of cybercrimes which should be immediately reported to the law enforcement bodies of the affected country," Rashid Nurgaliyev said.
He also called for further international cooperation in tackling the distribution of child pornography on the Internet.
Nurgaliyev, along with his French counterpart Michele Alliot-Marie, spoke after attending the ninth Permanent Council of the European Union/Russia Partnership in Paris, which focused on freedom, justice and security.
The event was also attended by the Russian and French justice ministers, Alexander Konovalov and Rachida Dati, respectively.
