DAMASCUS, October 17 (RIA Novosti) - Eight people were killed and ten injured Friday in a fire in a shopping mall in northern Syria, the SANA news agency reported.
The fire spread over 6,000 square meters (65,000 square feet) of the first two floors of a six-story building in the city of Aleppo, some 355 km (220 miles) north of Damascus
The blaze is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
