ROSTOV-ON-DON, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - Three people have been killed and another 34 injured in a passenger bus crash in the Krasnodar Region in southern Russia, the regional emergencies center said on Sunday.
The accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Moscow time (3:30 GMT) on Sunday when a bus traveling from Moscow to Makhachkala in the North Caucasus Republic of Daghestan went off the road and hit a tree in the Gulkevichi district of the Krasnodar Territory, the emergencies center said.
The driver and two passengers died in the accident, the emergencies center said.
According to preliminary information, a fault in the bus steering gear could have caused the accident.
