ASTANA, October 21 (RIA Novosti) - Kazakh customs officers have seized a truck carrying 20 metric tons of radioactive scrap metal in the north of the Central Asian country, the Kazakh emergencies ministry press service said on Tuesday.

The Mercedes truck was about to cross the Russian border en route to Lithuania on Monday when it was stopped, the press service said.
