KABUL, November 12 (RIA Novosti) - Six people were killed and another 43 injured when an oil tanker truck was blown up in southern Afghanistan on Wednesday, a spokesman for the local administration said.
The explosion was set off outside the provincial council offices in the city of Kandahar, destroying five homes and damaging nearby offices. The blast left a crater 5 meters deep.
The Afghan Interior Ministry has confirmed that the blast was a terror attack. The Taliban movement has claimed responsibility for the attack.
