CHISINAU, November 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Friday that trade between Russia and Moldova would grow by 20-30% to $2 billion by the end of this year.
"Last year we reached $1.5 billion," the Russian prime minister said at talks with his Moldovan counterpart Zinaida Greceanii. "This year it will hit $2 billion."
During the meeting, the two prime ministers also approved a 2009-2020 cooperation program between the two countries.
The Russian minister was in Moldova to participate in a meeting of CIS heads of government.
