"The bodies of three women were discovered on Wednesday morning in Grozny, and another three in the Grozny Region of Chechnya. The victims were aged between 25 and 35, and their bodies are being identified," the spokeswoman said.
All six victims were discovered on or near roads, and all had been shot in the head, the spokeswoman said. Three were discovered at two sites outside the city. Police are investigating links between the killings.
Spent cartridges of different calibers were discovered at all three crime scenes. A criminal case has been opened.
