KABUL, December 1 (RIA Novosti) - Ten people were killed and 27 injured on Monday in a suicide bomb attack at a market in the southern Helmand province, a district administrative chief said.
The suicide bomber blew himself up near a police vehicle at the central market killing several civilians, a district police chief, a police officer and an Afghani serviceman.
The radical Islamic Taliban movement has claimed responsibility for the attack.
