BAKU, December 13 (RIA Novosti) - At least two people were killed and six wounded on Saturday in an apartment block explosion in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.
The blast, thought to have been caused by a household gas leak, destroyed the staircase for the top three floors of the five-story house, Novosti-Azerbaijan agency reported.
Six people have been recovered with injuries and burns and have been hospitalized.
Rescuers are continuing the search effort as more people are believed to be under the rubble.
