MOSCOW, December 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's oil production declined 0.6%, year-on-year, in January-October to 406.4 million metric tons (2.9 billion barrels), the country's top statistics body said on Monday.
Refining on the domestic market increased 4.2% in the reporting period to 196.8 million metric tons (1.4 billion barrels), the State Statistics Service said.
Crude exports declined 6.4% in January-October 2008, year-on-year, to 202.2 million metric tons (1.5 billion barrels), the State Statistics Service said.
Oil exports accounted for 35.5% of Russia's total exports in January-October 2008, up 0.9% compared with the same period last year, the State Statistics Service said.
