MOSCOW, December 24 (RIA Novosti) - The next summit of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) postponed in December amid national anti-government protests in Thailand will be held on February 13-15, a deputy interior minister said.

The 14th summit, most likely to be held in Bangkok, will gather leaders of 10 countries - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Representatives from Japan, South Korea, China, India and the UN Secretary-General are also due to attend the event, Boonchong Wongtrairat said.

The summit was initially planned to be held on December 13-17 in northern Thailand but was delayed indefinitely amid the political turmoil in the country that led to the closure of Bangkok's two airports and the ousting of former prime minister Somchai Wongsawat.
