MOSCOW, February 3 (RIA Novosti) - The oil company Slavneft, ranked among Russia's top ten crude producers, said on Tuesday its oil output had declined 6.4% year-on-year in 2008 to 19.6 million metric tons (144 mln bbls).
The company's natural gas production decreased 3.2% in the reporting period to 899 million cubic meters, Slavneft said.
The oil company is co-owned by Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of the Russian energy giant Gazprom, and Russian-British joint oil venture TNK-BP.
