MOSCOW, February 21 (RIA Novosti) - Four people died and the chairman of the regional court of appeal was injured in a road accident in the Tula Region some 200 km (120 miles) south of Moscow, a law enforcement source said on Saturday.
The accident occurred on Friday evening on the federal Crimea highway. "According to preliminary information, the accident was caused by the driver of a Renault car who moved into oncoming traffic while overtaking," the source told RIA Novosti.
The Renault collided with an Audi vehicle, which was driven by the chairman of the regional arbitration appeals court.
The driver of the Renault and three passengers from both cars died at the scene, while the driver of the Audi was hospitalized with serious injuries.
