KABUL, March 8 (RIA Novosti) - A roadside bomb killed one and wounded two more soldiers from the NATO-led force in eastern Afghanistan, the alliance said on Sunday.
Losses among the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) battling the Taliban militants in Afghanistan stood at 1,095 soldiers as of March 4.
Since the start of 2009, over 60 soldiers from the NATO-led force have been killed in Afghanistan.
U.S. President Barack Obama earlier pledged to boost the U.S. troop presence in the war-ravaged country, and also said he would order a step up of attacks on militants on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, including raids into Pakistan.
