MOSCOW, March 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has moved to the quarterfinals of the men's Davis Cup after beating Romania on Sunday.
Russia's Dmitry Tursunov won 4-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in a tense match against Romania's Victor Hanescu that lasted three hours and 46 minutes, giving Russia a 3-1 lead in the Davis Cup first-round series.
Russia won the Davis Cup final in 2006 and lost it to the United States in 2007.
