VOLGOGRAD, March 11 (RIA Novosti) - Police have detained four children aged 8-11 for stealing food and toys from a nursery in the Central Russian Volgograd Region, a spokesman for the local police department said on Wednesday.
"The head of a kindergarten in the town of Zarya told the police that unidentified people broke into the nursery by breaking a window and stole toys and food," the spokesman said.
Four boys aged from 8 to 11 were detained by police after being found in possession of the stolen goods.
The criminal case was closed as the children were under the age of prosecution. Their parents will face a fine.
