MOSCOW, March 28 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin gave a commanding performance in the free dance program to take the gold at the World Figure Skating Championships in Los Angeles.
The Russian dance duo, who were leading America's Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto after Thursday's free dance, scored a total of 206.30 points, with the U.S. pairing just 1.22 points behind, at the Staples Center Arena to take their first-ever world dance title.
Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir held on to third place to take the Bronze.
