LONDON, April 2 (RIA Novosti) - G20 leaders have reached a consensus at their London summit on joint actions to tackle the global economic crisis, the British prime minister said Thursday.

Gordon Brown said the measures would slow down the recession and provide jobs, adding that G20 leaders had agreed "to meet again later this year."

He also said the leaders have agreed to allocate $5 trillion by the end of 2010 to resolve economic problems.

Brown said more than $1 trillion would be given to the International Monetary Fund and other financial institutions to combat the crisis.

The summit brought together leaders of developed and emerging economies and international organizations to discuss ways to deal with the crisis.
