MOSCOW, April 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday declared his income for 2008 stating that he earned 4.14 million rubles ($123,900).
His wife Svetlana holds over 135,000 rubles ($4,045) in bank accounts.
Vladimir Putin, who stepped down as president last May to accept the position of prime minister, earned more than Medvedev in 2008 with 4.7 million rubles ($140,700), including a military pension of 100,600 rubles ($3,000).
Putin's wife declared no income in 2008.
