DONETSK, April 11 (RIA Novosti) - Two miners are believed to be trapped after a rock slide occurred at a coal mine in the Donetsk Region, eastern Ukraine, a mining official said on Saturday.
The rock slide occurred at 14:10 local time (GMT 11:10), 477 meters (1,564 feet) underground.
"Two coal miners were detailed to work on the coal face...They were caught in a rock slide," the official said.
Rescuers are trying to establish contact with the missing miners.
Four rescue units are currently involved in the operation.
