The CEC said the ruling Communist Party garnered 49.48% of votes, the opposition Liberal party, Liberal Democratic party and Our Moldova alliance received 13.14%, 12.43% and 9.77% of the vote, respectively.
The results mean that the Communists will receive 60 seats, the Liberals - 15, Liberal Democrats - 15, Our Moldova - 11 in the country's 101-seat parliament.
However, three of the nine CEC members attached their assessment of how the voter register list was compiled to the final protocol, which, in their opinion, indicated that some serous violations could have been made.
"This is the fault of the Central Election Commission who agreed to compile the list not on the basis of data provided by local authorities, but from data provided by the information ministry," the document reads.
The election officials said that the names of voters, who are deceased or live abroad, may have been included in the registration list.
Sunday's parliamentary elections in Moldova have come under international scrutiny after around 10,000 people stormed the parliament building and presidential office in the capital Chisinau earlier in the week in protest at the results.
Some 170 police officers and more than 100 civilians were injured in the clashes.
Law enforcement authorities in Moldova said on Saturday that 295 people were arrested following the riots on April 7.
