World champion Ekaterina Iourieva, three-time world champion Albina Akhatova and two-time relay world champion Dmitri Yaroshenko were suspended from the world championships in South Korea after their blood-samples were found to contain the Russian version of the banned substance EPO.
The allsports.ru website on Monday quoted Yelena Anikina, the Russian Biathlon Union's executive director, as saying that the hearing would take place in Austria's Salzburg.
"Recently, decisions on doping cases have been made not by the IBU's executive committee, but by a special commission, formed in January," Anikina said.
If the commission finds the athletes guilty of doping they could miss the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
