MOSCOW, May 30 (RIA Novosti) - One worker died and three were injured in an explosion at a gasoline station in the Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk, a law enforcement spokesperson said on Saturday.
"As a result of a breach in health and safety regulations a gas-air tank exploded during welding work," he said.
He said that three workers had been hospitalized with burns and other injuries.
Emergencies ministry spokesperson Tatiana Kobzarenko said that "a 37-year-old man had died and another three men were injured, they have been hospitalized at a local hospital."
An investigation is being carried out to establish the facts surrounding the accident.
