WASHINGTON, June 18 (RIA Novosti) - Two co-pilots on board an international flight from Brussels to New York safely landed a commercial airliner with 247 people on board after the pilot died during the flight.
The Continental Airlines Boeing 777 made an emergency landing in Newark, New Jersey, at 11:49 am local time (15:49 GMT).
The company said in a statement that the 60-year-old pilot had worked for the airline for 32 years.
It added that the he most likely died from natural causes.
