GAZA, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - A Palestinian girl died and several other people were wounded after an Israeli tank shell hit a residential building in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, local medics said.
The shelling took place near the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip after a reported attack by Palestinian gunmen on an Israeli patrol at the Nahal Oz fuel terminal.
A 12-year-old Palestinian girl was killed and three men were injured in the incident.
Palestinian militants said they had fired seven rockets at the Israeli military.
