MOSCOW, July 10 (RIA Novosti) - The British Royal Family has opened a Twitter account, a Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said on Friday.
The account will provide details of royal engagements.
However, there will be no personal comments posted on the account.
"It is a news service rather than a personal voice," the spokeswoman said.
Twitter is a social-networking service that lets people keep each other informed about what they are doing throughout the day.
