MOSCOW, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - A couple who were bringing up 16 children, 12 of them adopted, some with special needs, have been killed in Florida, CNN reported Saturday.
Surveillance video showed that three black-clad men were approaching the Beulah home of Byrd and Melanie Billings, who were found shot Thursday night.
There were eight children whose age ranges from infancy to 11 years inside the home during the murder. They were unharmed.
Local police spokesman Sgt. Ted Roy said police and emergency services headed for the site Thursday upon receiving information that shots were being fired. The bodies were discovered by a family employee.
