MOSCOW, July 14 (RIA Novosti) - Concern Tractor Plants, Russia's largest company in the heavy engineering sector, plans to begin assembling heavy bulldozers in China in 2010, the company’s president said on Tuesday.
“We expect to produce up to 500 machines a year at this assembling facility,” he said, adding that project investment would amount to about $2 million.
The company also plans to launch production of heavy bulldozers in India this year and is currently studying the possibility of entering the African market and opening an assembly line in Nigeria. Talks are expected to begin in September.
