MOSCOW, July 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Cup holders CSKA Moscow were sent crashing out of the tournament on Wednesday by second-tier side Ural.

CSKA, fresh from lifting the 2008/09 trophy in May, sent a full-strength side to the Urals city of Yekaterinburg for the last 32 tie. However, stars such as Brazilian forward Vagner Love and teenage sensation Alan Dzagoyev, dubbed "the new Arshavin," were unable to keep the former Red Army team in the tournament.

The only goal of the game came in the 56th minute, a well-placed shot by forward Vladimir Shishelov delighting the home crowd.

"We were stronger, that's the most important thing," Ural trainer Vladimir Fedotov told the NTV Plus TV channel. "When Premier League teams come here, their players think they've already won."

The defeat seems likley to heap more pressure on CSKA's Brazilian trainer, Zico ahead of CSKA's vital tie with league leaders Rubin in Kazan on Saturday. Defeat would leave CSKA ten points off the pace.

The last 32 of the Russian Cup pairs Premier League sides with lower division clubs, with the underdogs getting home advantage.

Wednesday was a day full of shocks as Premier League clubs Krilya Sovetov, Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban, and Saturn all went out to their lower league opponents.

Matches involving league leaders and 2008 Premier League winners Rubin, Zenit St. Petersburg, and Spartak Moscow are due to finish later on Wednesday.
