MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) - Two armed robbers stopped a car in the south Russian republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, and stole 1.5 million rubles ($48,400) in cash after injuring two people, a local police source said.
The attack took place on Saturday in the local capital, Nalchik.
"Unidentified masked individuals approached the car, opened fire with non-lethal weapons, and injured the driver of the car and a passenger, a businesswoman, before taking the money," the source told RIA Novosti.
The attackers fled the crime scene in a Lada car, he said.
